I absolutely can‘t see his character as an INFJ. He might be polite and skilled in manipulating others, but apart from this he uses ausmistend no Fe. He always follows his own morals and what he feels to be right, even though others like Hastings often tend to disagree with him on moral issues. He is also quite proud and often superstitious often bothering others with his proud monlogues about himself and his great skills, as a detective. He doesn‘t care if others are interested in this and only acts on his own feelings. He can be very blunt and even impolite towards others, who work with him, when he thinks they are behaving foolish or ignorant and he has no problem calling the, out for their lack of intelligence, or logical thinking. An INFJ would be way more polite and harmony focused in this regard. Furthermore he is also extremely interested in order and organizing and arranging everything in a perfect manner, not interested if it might annoys others.
