"Quel type de personnalité est Vergil (DMC3)? Vergil (DMC3) est un type de personnalité ISTJ dans MBTI, 6w5 - sx/so - 614 dans Enneagram, RCOEI dans Big 5, LSI dans Socionics."
●[Why Vergil isn't Ni>Si] -The way he functions is settled in reality, not into the abstract possibility. -Just because he has a goal in mind doesn't directly single out Ni as every personality type can aspire for something. This is a huge misconception in the community -There's no way he has the inferior sensory function (Inferior Se) since he is physically way more capable, skilled, and aware that Dante, who is a Se dominant. You can cope and say, "He became that way because he must be strong for his vision" but inferior Se is still an inferior Se and Ni dom would struggle with it. If you think an INTJ can be that physically capable, then you've fallen for the stereotype created by ISFPs who get mistyped as INTJs, which in terms create a narrative where people mix the strongest INTJ trates and strongest ISFP trates all under INTJ which is why they type every cool, badass and emotionally closed off character as an INTJ -Typing Vergil as a Si dom would fix and explain a lot of questions that Ni dom voters don't really touch upon in depth. Let's see "Why is Vergil more skilled than Se dom Dante?" It's a Si vs. Se question. Vergil is more focused, more precise, and more in tune with his body, which is why he has better mastery of it, his powers and abilities which are all connected to his body than Se Dante who is more relaxed and playful with his style and movements -Vergil wants power because, according to him, without power, you can't do anything. Ni dom isn't really power-hungry because search for strength is rooted in sensory and physical, which is why it's more suitable for Si and Se than Ni who would try to compensate for it with it's abstract visions and insights, taking more passive approach and not really engaging with the sensory because those are their weakest functions which they are only using during stress and in generally unhealthy ways due to those functions being underdeveloped and because of a cognitive bias towards Ni-Te. It's completely reasonable to say this because that's how evey type functions, and it doesn't make any sense for those rules not to apply to INTJs as well. Every MBTI has a natural bias towards their dominant/stronger functions and avoids the weaker/inferior ones. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, including MBTI tyes and INTJs. -Going back to Vergil vs. Dante. Even if Vergil had been preparing for a long time, it is unlikely that he could take his inferior Se to the level of Dantes dominant Se, let alone surpass it. What makes more sense is that while Se is more flexible and scattered when it comes to the sensory, Si is more focused and single-minded. Hence, they can be seen as rigid because they would hone one skill until perfection before learning a new one, especially if it's a physically driven skill like fighting in Vergils case. No, that is not Ni. Ni is focused on the abstract and putting their abstract concepts and visions into reality, mostly in case of INTJs through Te which incules fixing logical issues, improving systems, using logic to align others to their vision, giving others insights in fields of objective logic and knowledge, etc. Albert Einstein, being a perfect representative of this type. ISTJs on the other hand, are way more handy, focused on getting the physical word done themselves, having a keen eye for detail because of their intense focus on the objective, as well as having a great ability to recognize their bodily sensations and being in tune with them which is why they are very precise in their physical movement. -While Vergil has a set goal in mind, that isn't a main indicator of Ni, and saying that he is the way he is just because he follows his vision is too vague and shallow which is why it can't be used as a valid argument, because as previously established, that's not how it works. Being motivated with Ni won't make the way you use your other functions any more effective, easier, and more efficient as all types have inherited biases, strengths, and weaknesses. Not only is Si the best option for Vergil, as previously concluded, it's also pretty obvious to the people who are willing to take MBTI seriously an look past the surface level judgments and biases caused by the casual MBTI users who are only trying to have fun
