I'm also ex-muslim but I agree that his arguments are really flawed and disorganized with a lack of philosophical scope in definitive propositions and provides no coherent substances in analysis. The way he correlates Islamic values with historical contexts and comparatively arrange it for social criticisms, sounds more of Ne-Te than Ni-dominance. He doesn't look for patterns in analysis but conclusive occurrences (Si).
