pete is a very sweet character! painfully underrated. his fe is sooooooo prominent. from the party in s1e4, defending carmy to the random relatives teasing him for being a chef, to handling donna berzzato in s2e10, trying to convince her to come into the restaurant and then trying to maintain a facade for sugar afterwards. pete proves himself time and time again to care for the people around him, and shows it in his efforts to assure each character whilst keeping the peace. he’s constantly trying to do things to be accepted by others or trying to help others, literally to the point that most of the berzzato family doesn’t even like him and finds him annoying and overbearing, but he persists. such a sweet character and he’s so, so good for nat.
