Kyle is ISTP SX6. "Kyle was silent. It felt like millions of times he was silent. He’s just thinking of more stupid excuses, I know it. I see right through his deceptions. I now know for a fact that Kyle is a degenerate, manipulative con-artist." [1/3] Reposting my old WDY argument after deleting my old account, because why not. Although the consensus is currently ISTP, there are a number of ISTJ votes and I'd like to clarify why Kyle is the latter + SX6. Not to substantiate my argument with intersystem correlations, but IS types, or 'Si doms' are heavily related to E9. 9s oversimplify their inner and outer world and wish to indulge in internalised physical sensations whilst repressing their emotions and logic. This produces a predominantly irrational type fixated on indolence which only seeks any sort of stimulation outside themselves. Evidently, E9 isn’t a good option for Kyle as he is too in touch with rational thought. To understand why he’s not IS dominant, one must understand that this type is irrational. Meaning that it does not conform to its actions to reason or “rational” thought, but rather experiences that cannot be encapsulated by a clearly defined criteria. As such, irrational types are spontaneous, have ambiguous thought processes and reason behind their actions and leave perceptions to themselves. Applying this to the IS type produces a type in touch with internal bodily sensations, homeostasis, “the subjective sensations released by the objective stimulus” and preserving physical realities, to cite Jung. Obviously this is not a philosophy that dictates Kyle’s thoughts. If he was an IS type, would he really go to all those lengths to kill Eteled? He perceives in a manner no different to any other, indicating ES>IS. Pragmatic, concrete, blunt and impatient, just like Sam who has auxiliary ES. He’s focused on action and doing. It’s not like Eteled was disrupting Kyle’s subjective reality either— Kyle wanted revenge simply because of his trauma and substantiated his motives further, stating it was a “necessary evil” to destroy him.
Biographie
Kyle Sanders is a main reoccurring character throughout the entire Wii Deleted You series. He is the protagonist of Kyle's Trilogy, alongside Episodes 1 and 3 of WDY: Aftermath. Kyle as a child seemed to have been rather timid and shy, only really open with Nathan, but also easily excitable. He was easily scared by Eteled, however. After his encounter with Eteled, he became more anxious, somewhat closed off, and unwilling to listen to Sam when she attempts to reason with him.
