Very interesting choice between INTP and INTJ, Pure Theory of Law as a theory only concerning legal science can be seen as a hyper-focus theory which disregard what he consider distraction of other discipline, this non-multi dimensional approach might be a sign of Ni-Te as oppose to the Ne which is very prevalent in INTP's mind. On one hand his Pure Theory of Law which attributes a laws' relevancy on their norm as oppose to any subjective morality would imply the Fi demon since he attribute no independent moral value toward law; similar to Hume and Bentham (Both ENTPS, and both had weak Fi), he doesn't concern himself with what is right. However as an INTP I have to give him INTJ vote; first, if you look at this video of his speech: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akh1Xci1HY0&t=170s, you will hear he was not a person of little moral conviction, on the contrary, he have very strong moral opinion, he just understand that there is a distinction between moral value and norms with objective reality, (He was a devout roman Catholic), in this video he said that people advocating for high tax and powerful social security in the expense of everyone else have weak will and inferiority complex; rather high Fi. His speech pattern is also very Ni-Te, always making further logical conclusion toward an idea he's trying to convey, different from INTP intellectual for example Milton Friedman who would have an idea then attack it from every angle to prove its relevance, also prevalent in his writting (Ti-Ne).

While in Vienna, Kelsen met Sigmund Freud and his circle, and wrote on the subject of social psychology and sociology. By the 1940s, Kelsen's reputation was already well established in the U.S. for his defense of democracy and for his Pure Theory of Law. Kelsen's academic stature exceeded legal theory alone and extended to political...
