Archie is a true believer, but he's not above using his Ni/Fe to try to manipulate the people around him. He's perfectly happy to be behind the scenes. ISFJs need approbation and peer respect. He's always reminding Katherine to remember the big picture. I don't see him as an ISTJ, he's a progressive, and SJs (especially clergy) aren't usually for changes in tradition. If he was Si dominant he would be a stickler for doing things 'the way we've always done it." He's drawn to things that are taboo, ISTJs are pretty vanilla, they're not so much with the mushrooms and peacock feathers in the butt.
