elizabeth afton is an ENFJ 2w3, she’s in constant search for her fathers approval and admiration, yes she was impulsive and “disobeyed” her father but any 7 year old is stubborn, immature, and EXTREMELY impulsive. edit: I’ll explain why I think shes an ENFJ 2w3 and not an INFJ 5w4 why shes an 2w3 2w3 = the helper, wing 2: shows need of approval and recognition from others, much like elizabeth with her father wing 3= strategic thinker and manipulator, SHES very manipulative especially using emotions ( we can see this in the games and books ) she plans and executes things effectively. 5w4 = the philosopher, wing 5= creative thinker, needing knowledge, elizabeths is primarily relational, her motivation is relational and not internal she seeks the approval of her father and his validation unlike a wing 5 who thinks independently wing 4= main motivate wanting to be seen as unique and authentic, elizabeth is strategic and has a desire to be admired ( more specifically by her father ) which makes her a 2w3, because she seeks love and approval rather than being knowledge seeking and independence. Shes not an individualist she aligns herself with her father’s expectations. pages that support my claim page 88-89-90-91 “I stood in awe of this creature my father loved this daughter he made himself” she claims wanting to be like circus baby because her father had loved his work more than he had loved her. This is also very Fe dom ( child cognitive functions ) “I wanted to be her so bad” she admires her because her father had loved her, therefore she thrives for his approval and attention we also have to keep in mind that elizabeth is 7 years old so her cognitive functions aren’t fully developed but her Fe is still very dom. now im not saying INFJs cant be manipulative, but they do it in a different way unlike ENFJs who use emotions to manipulate ( this assures me that shes an unhealthy ENFJ and has a toxic Fe dom ) now why is she an ENFJ? ( I already wrote this in a comment but I’ll copy it over here ) Let’s look at her cognitive functions. Fe dom—> revolves her life around past trauma and negliance and seeks approval Ni aux—> sees long term outcomes Se tertiary —> acts in the moment ( very much like elizabeth ) Ti inferior —> because her cognitive functions are underdeveloped she reflects logic internally INFJ cognitive functions Ni dom —-> makes decisions by internal motivation Fe aux—> more about vision and not approval unlike elizabeth whose main priority is her father’s approval. Ti tertiary —> they analyze and use logic which elizabeth as I assume doesn’t, she manipulates using emotions to get her way instead of being logically, she overwhelmes herself with emotions which we can see in page 113 “or maybe you’re just flustered youve finally got me all alone, you haven’t given me a chance.” Shows her very manipulative tactics ( I personally find this page a bit odd knowing Elizabeth is 7 but it really just shows u how she uses emotions to manipulate Se inferior —> again we have to take notice that since her cognitive functions are undeveloped, often a high lack of awareness Now I do know that tritypes in childern are extremely speculative but I also think shes an 287 let me explain why aswell since she’s already a 2w3 we use her heart 2, she’s a 2 because she seeks love and recognition. and then her gut type 8= why? she shows strong impulsive and reactive tendencies and controlling mannerism in a defense way her assertiveness isn’t about independence but more so preventing emotional harm which makes me assume she’s an 8. and then the head 7= curiousity and seeking engagement huge factors which assure me she’s a 7. so 2-8-7 sounds the most reasonable. why shes not 541 , so since she’s currently 5w4 obviously first we use the head 5= focuses on logic, she doesn’t detach or protitze independence which assures me that elizabeth is not a 5 at all. She needs approval. then the gut 4= individualist,prioritizes being unique, I don’t really see this as much, 8 makes such more sense from how often she takes charge and lastly the head 1= she isn’t a 1 at all, very much not a perfectionist, or atleast it’s not prevalent. also u don’t have to be extremely energetic to be an ENFJ that defeats the whole point of extorvertism, elizabeth is the case of a child ENFJ who has a very unhealthy Fe dom due to past trauma. that’s why Im certain elizabeth is an ENFJ 2w3 287 SO2. She is the user of an Fe dom and her Ni aux supports the Fe dom by planning outcomes. ( also if I got anything wrong enneagram wise correct me if needed )
