Biographie
The aliens who invaded Earth in War of the Worlds are of unknown origin. They had been planning the invasion of Earth for several millions of years, seemed to be highly intelligent and showed to be highly technologically advanced. They met their downfall when (presumably) consuming from food sources containing micro-organisms, against which they had not developed natural immunity, leading to their deaths within a matter of days.
