INFP I’ve been listening to his music, and one of the first things I could think of, is how he reminded me of Rufus Wainwright who is also an INFP, overall in his style, especially with the more or less “flat” singing or monotone singing, and overall the adding and mixing of seemingly unrelated things with Ne in the lyrics. Regardless, I’ve seen what people have said about INTJ, and tbf I almost was willing to agree. However, I would say his Fi-Si is most apparent in his works and Ne as well. His Fi-Si shows when talking about details in his environment. In one of his songs “where’s the girl.” Talks about where is the girl who made the coffee and buttered his toast, and most importantly where is the girl, essentially. Also rumination on the stocking left behind. An INTJ could possibly write about that, but Si is known for attaching experience to objects, in Fi-Si order it makes the most sense that something like that would cause much pain for an INFP. An INTJ on the other hand may talk more about the missing presence as a whole, or even about qualities of their character, then grounding it with concrete items. Even if an INTJ did use an object, likely it would be a much larger encapsulation with Te-Se to describe the missing physical presence. Also, the way that Scott Walker uses metaphors, gives a more Ne example of putting things together then simply going with one vision. Especially in his song “Jackie” there are all kinds of “nonsensical” similes, and a heavy emphasis on a Ne-Si possible experience he could have, where he lived that specific experience that song entails. An INTJ is very unlikely to describe an experience they could have with so many sensory details like Si in an INFP can, and is very unlikely to imagine such a sinario in the first place, because unless that specifically was apart of their Ni vision, there would be no need to imagine such a sinario. Now, I can also see how maybe all the metaphors and details could be apart of a larger vision, but even then, it’s unlikely a Ni vision, but more of the grander inferior Te scale that Scott Walker was going for. Essentially, he looks like a INTJ because of how present his Te is, but the main part is just how much Si in contained within his music, that is definitely not in INTJs.
