There are similar scenes in Vagabond where Guts thinks he is very powerful and can make money by killing people, but he feels empty like that. Musashi is also ISTP like Guts. They're both very resourceful and stronger than other people, but when they think about their future, they can't see a specific dream or goal, and it upsets them. Actually, this is demon fi. Most IXTPs wonder what they have accomplished at the end of the day, what it really means to them. They ask themselves, "Yes, I did that, but what does it matter to my heart or my personality? IS it what i ACTUALLY desire?" and it can be overwhelming for them. When they realize that they lack of personal passion for something they actually good at, that leads them to pain and grief.
