Hoyoverse’s typing has made me rethink my perspective. When I initially typed her, I was just confident that she wasn’t an ISFJ because I saw no Fe or Ti. I still firmly believe this, but now I’m starting to wonder if she could actually be an ISFP. Se has been known to look similar to Te, and in some cases they actually can be mistaken for each other. As Both functions value efficiency and acting in the moment. I orginally saw her more as an Si dom due to how dutiful and unfeeling she was. But rethinking it, it actually makes sense. It just wasn’t Fe. Fi doms have been known to struggle with their own personal beliefs and worldviews. Their entire existence could be defining who they are and where they stand. They might even latch onto someone else’s beliefs and let that guide them, especially SX9’s. Her having Ni over Ne also makes sense. She harmonizes so naturally with Cerydra, always on the same page, regardless if her actions could be deemed moral. It would make sense to say they have all of the same cognitive functions, just in different order. She sees the vision Cerydra has for the world and will do anything to help her achieve this. Letting Cerydra’s vision for Amphoreus become her own. Inferior Te also fits more than inferior Ne. At her lowest, she doesn’t spiral into countless irrational possibilities. She becomes a blind rule follower, relying on others’ logic instead of her own. It ties into her connection with Nihility: she doesn’t get stressed by “what-ifs,” she becomes numb and apathetic. Disconnected from her own world. Ultimately, I think I may have misread her Si. Hysilens isn’t “traditional” because she genuinely respects tradition, she’s a blind rule follower because she lacks strong beliefs of her own. That’s why her fallout with Cerydra makes so much more sense. It’s the moment she finally starts thinking for herself, forming her own values after following Cerydra for so long. And in the end, it’s something Cerydra is glad to see. That she finally began acting on her own terms.
