“My imperator is dead, my fire is dead, my heart is dead.” Hysilens is a sx9 brief explanation Naranjo describes the 9 core as “a lack of being”, they can be extremely disconnected from themselves and feel numb. Instead of looking inwards to fill this hole, they fill themselves through the other. The “laziness” of the core 9 is not necessarily actual physical laziness but also describes the lack of interest in their own internal world, they turn/wait for something/someone else to “fill them”, “complete them”. When the 9 meets the sexual instinct they attempt to “merge” with someone else. “When inertia affects the sexual instinct, the person invests his energy in the intimate relationship of two and, in the couple or friendship, he gets involved in a confused way, just as he lived with his parents, in which he allows himself to feel his existence only through the other, to whose desires and needs it attends, without differentiating the I from the you. In short, he „uses" the existence of the other to be able to carry out his own. He is a devoted but drugged lover; he converges and identifies himself globally with the loved one in order to feel loved.” The sexual 9 also does not feel like they have their own place, which is why they seek out the other. * C: “Tell me. However this was an empty promise, there was no feast awaiting her, there was no one waiting her. She was all alone and all she could do was wander around aimlessly, devoid of any meaning. That is when Cerydra found her and offered to give her meaning by becoming her blade. * C: “Then how about letting the sword dance for me, and letting the violin sing in my name..” * C: Such a demand is trivial with the sovereign's authority. I'll grant you a banquet worthy of conquest, and comrades to toast beside you. * C: “But, knight, you must offer me your heart.” * H: “My heart?” * C: “Yes. A loyal heart that will generate no betrayal.” * C: “You were deceived by gods and drowned in the ocean's darkness. But now, I will lead you forward and be your light.” * H: “So be it, noble monarch. The Law you proclaim shall govern my every breath...” Hysilens was intrigued by Cerydra’s offer. She was offered a feast where she would finally find her warmth and as long as she remained loyal to the Imperator, she would have her own place right next to her. A place where Cerydra would guide her and be her light. She began to “merge” with Cerydra more, because the thing that brought her comfort was the feasts that Cerydra would held for her. And what brought her even more comfort is Cerydra keeping her promise. What brought her “meaning” and a sense of purpose was Cerydra and she wanted to drown herself in it. * H: "I want to drown in her ambitions." * H: “What I desire is the same as before. A feast.” * H: “Now, I've found a flame. It may scald and burn, but it's the only light.” * H: “In the deep sea, I never knew what "fire" was. But when I set foot on land, the first light that I saw was the flames of war lit with golden blood.” * H: “It scorched my fins, made me feel pain and…” * H: “Ignited an unprecedented hunger.” * H: “A hunger that flickers in every hero's heart, so bright, yet so blinding..” In the end the feasts still stirred her heart instead of the grand idea to conquest the stars. However she still wanted to follow Cerydra for those feasts, for the sense of belonging. (Disclaimer this is my first time doing a“proper argument” that isn’t in response to someone else, so my apologies if it isn’t phrased or explained the best.)

Hysilens is a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail. Styxia, a coastal city of intoxication and dreams, where echoes of old songs still drift among the waves. Helektra, Daughter of the Sea, Chrysos Heir who cleanses the Ocean's Coreflame, dispels the murky undercurrents and orchestrates a feast of revelry for the heroes beyond the sky. — The show must go on. Even if hope is as fragile as bubbles, the waves will keep surging forward.
