Tbh there's nothing in this song that indicates any Extroverted functions (certainly 0 Ne). It's sung from the perspective of a detective who seemingly knows the victim's fate the moment he sees the crime scene, but is using the sensory details around him (blood on the carpet, a smashed window) to build an abstract understanding of the most likely possibility - what may have really happened to Annie. A Ne dom would prioritise examining every single possibility when at this crucial part of an investigation, where nothing is certain or guaranteed; and the lyrics would follow that sporadic line of thinking. Smooth Criminal's repetetitive "Annie, are you ok?" implies the detective already knows she's not, or that she was never going to be. That Annie also refers to a mannequin used for teaching resusitation, I mean Annie might not even be the victim's name at all. The detective is possibly even giving the victim a new name that he believes symbolises her unfortunate death. He sees parademics and onlookers as mourners gathering for a "black day" rather than people who might hold the key to saving Annie or at least figuring out the culprit. He doesn't view himself as part of this crowd of people trying to help, nor does he bounce off their ideas. He seems quite isolated in his understanding of what went down. And the rest of the song is him describing what he believes - how and why Annie isn't okay. I don't see any Fe, but possibly Fi in that he clearly is struggling to come to terms with his understanding of what Annie went through. His rigorous attempts to "solve" her death could be interpreted as his bid to help her where no one else can. Though INTJs are stereotyped as cold, they're very deeply committed to aiding people or causes that strike them as unjust.

“Smooth Criminal” is a song by American singer Michael Jackson from his seventh studio album Bad (1987). It was written by Jackson, and produced by Jackson and Quincy Jones. It was released as the album's seventh single on November 14, 1988. It features lyrics about a woman who has been attacked in her apartment by a "smooth criminal". The refrain "Annie, are you OK?" was inspired by Resusci Anne, a dummy used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation training. Jason Elias of AllMusic wrote that “Smooth Criminal” was, "a gorgeous and exhilarating record ... [it] presents Michael Jackson at his most captivating and it never fails to impress." Rolling Stone named it the sixth best Jackson song, writing that it was, "his best blend of R&B groove and rock edginess, and a turning point in his shift toward darker, harder-edged material."
