Personalità

"Che tipo di personalità è Philip Blake “The Governor”? Philip Blake “The Governor” è un tipo di personalità ENTJ in mbti, 3w4 - so/sx - 386 in enneagram, SLOEI in big 5, EIE in socionics."

He is definitely a 3 sp/sx. "These threes often try to do it all, be the perfect mother or father for instance, while working many hours, and maintaining relationships with friends and family. This subtype is prone to double and triple booking hours of the day." Most of his entire arc in the first half of season 3 in a nutshell. He tries to be the perfect boyfriend to Andrea, while also being the perfect leader, knowing everyone, going out for resources, and listening to his people. "They take their relationships seriously, but when unbalanced can become cold when their self-preservation instinct is threatened in any way. With their social instinct being last, they can have a distrust of new people within their circle of influence." His entire arc with Michonne is summed up very nicely here. When she and Andrea come in he is pretty wary of them early on and tries to get a feel for them. After Michonne kills his Walkers he tells her she can just go, but when she does he wants her dead, largely because she threatened his sp instinct. When she comes back and kills Penny and attacks him he wants revenge because she threatened it in a way he didn't think anyone could. He was sure Penny was a secret, and when she not only wasn't, but was killed, to him it was the ultimate threat. If she can get to Penny, she can get to him easily. As for 3w4 he was always concerned about success to be liked. The first half of season 3, he was talking to everyone, loved, an amazing leader, and he relished in their praise. Because he needed to be successful, when Michonne killed the walkers and left he saw that as a threat to his success, and that can't go unpunished. Killing her, in his mind, would be the only way to be successful after what she did. After she attacks him, they break in, and a bunch of his people die, he feels he failed, so he wants Andrea to be in charge, because she stepped up and took control when even he thought he couldn't. After they're attacked, much like with Michonne he saw the only way to be successful was to attack them, and that's his driving force in 3B. After Michonne attacks him and kills UnPenny he wants revenge because he failed his daughter, largely why he couldn't see his daughter as dead was because he failed her. Following in the vein of him being perfect in every aspect of his life, if he can't be a good father, he probably can't be a good leader, which is another large reason why he isolated himself for a while. After his people fight back against fighting Rick's group, he once again sees the only victory in killing them, because how dare they fight back against their leader, who's saved them all. Afterwards he slips into loneliness, he realizes he failed his daughter, his people, his friends. He walks alone for a long time, believing he'll just fail anyone else. It's largely why he wants to be isolated from the Chamblers. After he saves them, and gives Tara information on how to kill the Walkers he sees it as once again succeeding. Which just goes down the same path again. A 3w2 wouldn't have isolated themselves from their people, they have to be liked, and isolating yourself doesn't fulfill that. He would've been more distraught about Penny's death in a, you took away the only person who loved me unconditionally, and his relationship with Penny would've been more akin to his comic counterpart.
