Personalità

"Che tipo di personalità è Russell "Stringer" Bell? Russell "Stringer" Bell è un tipo di personalità ENTJ in mbti, 3w4 - sp/sx - 358 in enneagram, RCOEI in big 5, LIE in socionics."

He is probably one of the most tragic characters I have seen on TV. His fall from grace is written beautifully; I *tip* my hat to the show creators! He reminds me of Don Draper from Madmen or Joe Macmillan from Halt & Catch fire. When McNulty visits his home, he says, "Who the fuck was I chasing all this while?". But sadly, Stringer didn't know who he truly was or wanted to be. It was like he was superficially acting roles that fate doled out to him, thinking that he was number one, but in reality, he was a perfect number two who complimented the boss figure above him. If you examine it closely, he was not a good gangster; cause when Avon went to jail, he lost all the turfs that made them so strong cause he was busy playing the businessman. Then when he got into being a developer, he failed in that too and got played by Davis cause he cut Levy & other trusted advisors. He is an excellent lesson to people who try to fake it until they make it. But I do feel bad for him! I do think about how he would have turned out to be if he was dealt a better set of cards.

Biografia

Second in command to Avon Barksdale, the two have been friends and accomplices since they were boys. Stringer sees himself as analytical, precise, and intelligent, and takes economics and business classes in hope of legitimizing the Barksdale Organization's profits through investments such as real estate. This stance eventually alienates him from Avon, who ultimately is much more concerned about playing the game and upholding the street code of ethics he grew up with.
