after muuuchhh thinking + analysis on usagis character,,, she is definitely an sp2. NOW BEFORE EVERYONE COMES FOR ME i truly did believe she was a total 6 but really thinking about ittt she is definitely not a head core. pls continue reading below for my reasoning ^^ (1/2) ୨୧ lets start this off by listing some of the traits of 6 core vs 2 core. (the enneagram authors i use are naranjo & chesnut btw !) - 6 core ; "The passion of Fear/Anxiety causes the Six to be suspicious and worried, as they are aware of what could go wrong and don’t want to be endangered or put their trust into the wrong people or beliefs." i don't think this sounds like usagi at ALL. the last few words is what really makes me question 6 for her. she is known to being extremely trusting and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt despite her friends warnings and advice. usagi isn't very prone to being aware of what could go wrong as she is honestly pretty impulsive and selfish at times. she does get worried, but lacks the suspicion in sixes, which is something that is usually very prominent. her want for 'security' is more so 2 behavior due to her being dependent and childish. - "suspicious/over-cautious disposition, excessive deliberation for what to others is a spontaneous choice, rational choices, on lookout for hidden meanings" this again, sounds almost the opposite of usagis character. making rational decisions is what she is known for NOT doing. as stated, she is super trusting and sees the good in the villains throughout the show whereas others do not. i don't think a six would want these villains living amongst other humans considering their skeptical nature 😭 i feel like this alone throws 6 core out the window. i do believe she fits the subtype of sp6 a bit, but you have to consider the actual trait structure before the subtype. ୨୧ now onto the 2 core trait structure - 2 core ; "The passion of Pride causes the Two to deny that they are anything but selfless, as they ignore their own needs and try to specially meet the needs of others in hopes that others will praise and appreciate them for it." usagi tends to ignore her own needs to satisfy the other sailor scouts and luna as well. at the start and end of the first arc, she was willing to give up being a scout in hopes of living a normal life. however she continues to be a scout knowing that its what the others want and she soon comes to terms with it as well. not to mention all the trauma that came with being a scout such as her friends + mamoru dying then coming back to life 😭 she states how she doesn't want to lose any more of her friends and was willing to sacrifice her own life to stop it all from happening. but girl.. would a six go through all that life threatening stuff?? she's a people pleaser. as stated, she will ignore her own wants to please others. - "unaware of own neediness, compulsion to please and be extraordinary, identification of the neediness of others, covertly satisfy their love need by having an abundance of love to offer, can become temperamental when not indulged or made to feel loved/pampered" usagi has very selfish tendencies. this includes her constantly wanting mamoru for herself, not wanting to share, her jealousy, and even wanting her mother all to herself from chibiusa. many characters such as rei call her out for this childish behavior. she also gets angry when she feels unappreciated, such as when mamoru 'forgot' her birthday (he didn't even know it was her birthday). she can be pretty entitled but she is also very loving and of course, genuine. Usagi is an ordinary junior high school student who discovers one day, thanks to the appearance of her mentor mascot Luna, that she is a warrior destined to protect Earth from the evils that threaten to destroy it. It is later revealed that she is the reincarnation of Princess Serenity from centuries past, and that she will one day become Neo-Queen Serenity and rule the world. Though initially frightened by this responsibility, Usagi grows over the course of the series from a spoiled crybaby unsure of herself and her abilities into a brave fighter for love and justice (though she never quite gives up her goofy ways).
