I don’t think that Jane is a sp/so. Self-preservation 9s are often described as the most ‘8-ish’ and confrontational of the enneagram 9 subtypes. They create habits and routines to expend minimal energy and keep their peace. When their routine is disrupted, they become stubborn and irritable. In contrast, according to Beatrice Chesnut, sx9s, "Express the passion of laziness by merging with the important people in their lives. Sexual Nines unconsciously take on the attitudes, opinions, and feelings of others, because it can feel too hard to stand on their own. These Nines tend to be kind, gentle, shy characters who are not very assertive." I would argue that the sx9 description fits her better.
