I'm copying and pasting my response to when someone one asked about why he's a 9w1. So here's what I wrote and my argument to it. I often notice him keeping his cool oftentimes, he is quite calm and emotionally stable, which is mainly how 9s attempt to deal with their anger in the anger/gut triad. (Repress) As of being in the positive outlook, they strive to see things positively and what is positive, Wu tries to inform others what is best to always look at what is positive in another way. As for w1, he is rather moral and principled as a w1, he has the sense of morality/duty as a w1. In addition, he's not aggressive and defensive as a w8. However, with the instinctual variants, this is what I know; if he's a Sp 9, Ig it can make some sense... Sp 9s are more assertive and a tiny bit stubborn, if you see his trends, he often speaks up but keeps his cool and calmness. As for the Social part (Type 9 countertype) Social 9s get involve by becoming mediators and expresses sloth (9 vice is sloth) through group activities and supporting group interests. Wu often tries to deal with others and solve the conflict among groups.
バイオグラフィー
Wu is the second-born son of the First Spinjitzu Master and younger brother to Garmadon. A childhood incident led to the latter being bitten by the Great Devourer and slowly infected with evil. When Garmadon left to train with Master Chen, Wu came across the orphan Morro and took him on as a student - which would later turn into his biggest regret. He and his brother were then involved in the first Serpentine War on the side of the Elemental Masters as well as the conflict against the Time Twins. Eventually, Garmadon succumbed to the evil flowing in his veins and tried to take the Golden Weapons, leading to a battle that resulted in Wu banishing him to the Underworld. Having accumulated much experience and wisdom over the last forty years, he would later seek out the Ninja and become their mentor in order to help them against their foes.
