he uses si when he frequently thinks back about the dead cat, things his mom said, and other memories from when he was very young. he was able to recall the day they went hiking quite well, including the small details. he also chose the meat bun every time (before he let his mom take full control), maintaining a sense of consistency. obviously the si function is much more complex than that, but he definitely lives up to the basic characteristics. his fe, however, is a bit complicated as he was literally gaslighted for a long time. he has a difficult time distinguishing his own thoughts and feelings from his mom's. all that mattered to him was that SHE was happy, SHE was never wrong, SHE needed him. if he were a fi user, it would've taken a lot more effort to break him down like that
