Michael's actually a Fi user. Despite still being very obviously in love with Colin and attached to the life they had created together, he tried embracing the novelty of returning single. He struggled, though, because, even if he tries, he can’t avoid expressing what he truly feels, or use a go with the flow mentality. This was obvious in every single date he had. Think about his reactions when things he did not agree with were suggested to him, like Luke's idea of intimacy. I guess some people voting ENFJ are imagining one that is stressed, but I don't think so. I think what comes up as Fe is Neil Patrick Harris' huge amount of it in his charisma and bearing, plus enneagram. Michael's behavior is indicative of the axes he prefers, Ne-Si and Te-Fi. Michael shows Te-Fi when he gets upset. Think about the way he talked to the drag queen couple therapist, and what the therapist told him about himself, how he reacted when he found out Stanley (same type with different enneagram) had gone to Colin's new house for dinner, or when he jumped to the conclusion that Colin had started a relationship with Tyler. There's a moment with his boss, when he was being too adamant about closing the deal with Claire, that's also a good example. Claire is indeed a person with whom he compromises more. I'd say because she is a client and because he deeply relates to what she’s going through (being left suddenly by her husband), which sounds, again, a lot like Fi.
