imo this guy never uses Ne?, or at least I haven't seen it, he never wonders the what if of situations and never gets lost in searching or discovering things, he just wants to investigate what he thinks has potential for things that would help him or his friends, trying to expand his understanding of things in a personal way. He also uses Te since he also wants to enforce some sort of logic when he has to, not always tho. But I don't think he is ENTJ either so it still fits. It is more a SeNi axis than a NeSi, although I still don't think he is an ISTP, since I don't really think he uses Ti dominant, which would be more interested in trying to expand their personal web of archetypes rather than things with some sort of personal purpose. I'm not trying to say that Ti users can't do it, but in this case, he never shows signs of Ne or Ti actually.
