Moses is serious and calm, showing exceptional composure in the face of Distortions and other threats she meets in Fixer work. In social situations, she is somewhat irritable, although she tends to keep such sentiments to herself; overly talkative, irrational, or manipulative people are likely to gain her ire. She can be very protective of those close to her, such as Ezra and YuRia, willing to exert her mind and body to great lengths for their sake. Equally, she also expresses great care for those affected by Distortions, offering help even outside of official requests.[2]

The titular Distortion Detective and eponymous Operator of Moses' Office, she is a short middle-aged woman who has the special ability to see the progression of Distortions before they physically manifest. She has a modified smoking pipe which allows her to cleanse Distortions and pacify enemies, among other uses. Secretly, this pipe is actually her Psychoment (E.G.O.), making her one of the few people known to have successfully manifested E.G.O. As a result, she cannot Distort.
