When characters are being typed as Ones, people seem to forget about how E1 is a criticizing type — not only towards themselves but at others too. When did Ooe show that type of side? She's only critical in the beginning, because of the importance she sees in traditional clothing (being someone from a family that sells it) and poetry (one of the dearest things for her), but actually shows a compassionate and loving side towards anyone. She organizes everyone's shoes and takes care of a lot of tiny important details in relation to the club room & karuta without even complaining. The way she's also attuned to everyone's needs and observing their dynamic also shows how the more strict side of 1s doesn't fit her.
