Okay so I voted ESFJ, hear me out: Some may be under the assumption that Fe-dominants are completely unselfish, this is clearly untrue. What Fe means is that they view themselves and perform emotional actions based on personal relationships as opposed a stable sense of self and their own values. Josh largely defines himself based on how others perceive him. He doesn't have the Fi-knowledge of whether he's happy in his relationship with Valencia, or what he really wanted to do with his relationships and life. When he feels any discomfort, his reaction is to confide in Father Bruh, because he doesn't have good knowledge of his own emotional world and values. Everyone else seems to be able to understand his emotions more than he can. He's preoccupied with how others view him, exemplified by him wanting to be prom king. He has somewhat good emotional perception, since he's been able to pick up when Rebecca was upset, but doesn't understand why, or makes the wrong deduction because inferior Ti. A person with strong Fi would not propose to someone without knowing whether they actually want to get married, and they'll immediately notice if they're unhappy in a relationship. When he impulsively proposes is when he notices his partner is upset and he must rectify it (Fe). He also shows his Fe emotional intelligence through charming everyone and making them feel happy and comfortable, which explains why he has so many love interests and how he made Rebecca feel better every time in the beginning of the series. During his Fi-shadow song, "Angry Mad," he asked, "why do I feel this way?" Showing the underdevelopment of his Fi. Si aux: His entire character arc is wanting to stay in childhood and maintain the way his life always was lol. Moving back to his hometown, wanting to live out his life the way it was in high school, valuing his family connections, going to camp to volunteer every summer... Even his reluctance to marry Valencia is indicative of his resistance to changing his current lifestyle. When he describes his past is when he uses terms such as "happy." An Se-dom would not space out and detach himself from the environment like he tends to do. Ne tert: An unhealthy Fe-dom solely defines themselves by their relationships, which is why he goes into Ne-grip when left alone. See: Thought Bubbles. Also, despite his wanting to maintain the same life he always has, when he's distressed, his Ne-tert jumps into another relationship to escape responsibility, and because of the possibility it can bring. Ti-inf: He goes by his own logic for sure. When being called out for "jumping to the next pretty girl" when he's distressed, his logic went, "I must avoid pretty girls this time!" And then he did the next "logical" thing and became a priest. -.- I think this function develops somewhat near the end when he figured out why Paula was avoiding studying for her exams. (Fe-Ti) Sidenote: the EJs usually organizes social structures and social gatherings. He's the one who plans out his group's hang-out sessions, and he tries to control the group dynamic. I think some have voted for Se-dom because he responds to situations without considering the long-term consequences, has no long-term plans for himself and just "lets" life happen to him. I think it's more indicative of Ni-PoLr as opposed to Ni-inf, because his Ni never developed, and his responses are usually a result of Fe (how can I make the people around me happy RIGHT NOW)
