Why type 2? The last thing I would describe him as is loving or giving. He's distant and closed off, seemingly absorbed in his own world and thoughts, his writing and creations, more than he is in helping others or proving his worth. Perhaps in some part his art is a part of it, but he seems to do it just for the sake of creation rather than for popularity. Vincent is elusive and secretive, so much so that we don't know his true intentions or thoughts well enough to accurately type him. Regardless, I think 5w4 makes the most sense for him.
