I think the MCU version of Thanos is an INTJ. While he seems more like an ENTJ in "Endgame" I think the core of his character follows the INTJ function stack more accurately in the grand scope of things. Since he was young, Thanos was always aware of impending doom and tried to warn his home world about the consequences of overpopulation (Dominant Ni). Establishing the demeanor of a dark prophet, Thanos envisions a universe in which half of the population is eliminated in order to prevent what he once again perceives as a catastrophe; thus, hoping to bring an ideal, structured, and ordered universe without suffering and overpopulation (Ni + Te). The difference between him being an INTJ as opposed to an ENTJ is how patient he is. Thanos waits for as long as he needs to in order to bring his vision into fruition. He is often in the background of the story contemplating and letting others do his dirty work which shows Higher Ni usage and lower Se usage. Compare him to an unhealthy ENTJ like Azula from Avatar: TLA. Azula is constantly on the move and always on the front lines. In order to achieve his vision Thanos uses any means necessary, willing to break through any obstacle that stands in his way (Te). I have seen some arguments for Thanos being an INFJ, but I disagree. There are instances when distinguishing an INFJ and INTJ can be tough, given the prophetic nature of both types especially when paired with the Type 1 Enneagram. ~More below~
