Definitive Fi user. The song "Nutshell" is him in a nutshell. Wore his inner demons on his sleeve. Fi-Se can be rough. It is prone to nihilism. Your personal reaction to the external world being your main way of perceiving reality would make your life one of intense highs and lows. Can't imagine having those functions as my first two rather than my last two. Layne was the original doomer. The world can seem pretty dark if you get stuck in Fi-Se, or even Fi-Ni because that causes dread about the future too. The album Dirt is all Fi-Se-Ni. I imagine a lacking Te would make it harder to break the cycles of addiction. Would make you feel trapped, like there is no alternative. Being Fi-Se he puts his heart and soul into his voice and lyrics and was great at what he did.

Layne Staley (born Layne Rutherford Staley, August 22, 1967 – April 5, 2002) was an American musician known for being the lead vocalist, occasional rhythm guitarist and co-songwriter of the rock band Alice in Chains from 1987 until 1998. The band rose to international fame in the early 1990s during Seattle's grunge movement, and became known for Staley's distinct vocal style, as well as the harmonized vocals between him and guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell.
