The halo effect is a cognitive bias in which an individual's overall impression of a person, company, brand, or product influences their perceptions of specific traits associated with that entity. Essentially, it's the tendency to let one positive quality or impression about something or someone influence judgments about other unrelated characteristics or qualities.
