at first ya’ll said ISTP and now it’s ESTJ. am i the only one who sees ENTJ? the Te is so obvious i will not explain it. but i see Ni over Si. kosem is all about the future of the empire and what’s best for the state. in every episode she always says things like, “you will ruin the future of our empire” or “the future of the state will go on” (i’m paraphrasing). but she has an obsession with keeping the empire running no matter what. it’s why she finds murad’s decision to end the state with him preposterous and absurd. it also encourages her to betray him for her own goals. Se tertiary makes sense for her too. she is ready to take action whenever it’s necessary. she almost jumps the gun too fast because she can be impatient, which means she can’t be inferior Se. but kosem is also a long term planner. the way she waits for years for the chance to kill farye and silhatar at the right time shows she can’t have Se as an aux or dom function. fi inferior is obvious. she has no fe whatsoever. she overlooks most of her children’s emotional turmoils in favor of her own goals. she cares about geverhan but still tells her to move on and forgive her brother for killing her husband and becoming a widow. she also sets silhatar to marry atike despite geverhan and him being in love. kosem loves her children but she doesn’t consider their feelings and goals. her inferior fi shows when ever her children have died. she takes geverhan’s suicide very hard. each loss of her children pains kosem. but at the same time her Te-Ni strikes, and she is willing to overthrow and kill her children (murad and ibrahim) for the sake of pursuing the safety of the empire. i will say murad and ibrahim were awful to the empire so it’s understandable why kosem wanted to remove them from the throne. but it’s undeniably cutthroat for a mother to kill her two sons and force her grandson on the throne as a puppet. i think kosem is a rather unhealthy ENTJ. the toxic system the harem provided was detrimental to kosem’s mental health. but she is the most powerful sultana there ever was.
