Unpopular opinion: INTPs and INTJs have a negligible difference when it comes to introversion. What is noticeable is how they express it. INTPs are more scattered and divergent, whilst INTJs will concentrate their limited extraversion on one sightline. It's largely about distinguishing between a shotgun and a sniper rifle. INTPs will not fixate on one social setting to be extroverted in. They'll be more nomadic than INTJs due to their Ne, but not completely due to their Si preferring familiarity. They will be very fond of fields that invoke logical reasoning (Ti). INTJs, comparatively, will construct themselves a grand palace and leverage it greatly - but will also never step foot outside of it. Difference here from an INTP's Si is that they're too preoccupied setting their eyes on one field to be bothered beyond that. You can thank Ni for being put to play there, converging their energy onto overarching goals. Take a business setting. INTJs will almost certainly be more present than INTPs, frequently lending their input in discussions (Te). Outside of the workplace, they'll go back home and never see the sun again, akin to a vampire. With Ni and Fi, INTJs would likely ponder ideals resonating deep within, only ending the next morning as they drag themselves to work. Of course, INTPs have inferior Fe, which tampers with their extraversion socially, and INTJs possess inferior Se, which is a parasite that will paralyze them if they were to see a Renaissance painting. INTPs wouldn't even recognize the painting with trickster Se, and INTJs would gladly give you a middle finger from their trickster Fe. INTPs will dig a 20-foot hole in 5 wells, while an INTJ will dig a 100-foot hole in a single well. Whoever's more introverted is subject to your definition of it.
