Unpopular opinion: I like Jack more than Elon I think his sentiment sincere when it came to free speech on Twitter and tried to be fair. Elon is in favor of banning people due personal biases and applying bans arbitrarily. Whereas, Jack would on occasion intervene to get people who he didn't like or aligned with politically get unbanned or remove suspensions. When looking into the details and felt those users didn't break terms of service Whereas, Elon will make up bs to excuse banning such as "impersonation", "inciting hate", or pull up an emotional anecdote to gain sympathy for his actions, involving holding his dead first in his arms and being traumatised by that experience as to why he won't let Alex Jones back on twitter. Which even, Elon's ex-wife debunked as never happening since only she held their first born and not Elon. I would have respected Elon more had he just admitted AJ can't be reinstated since as Alex has been sued in a kangaroo court for £1 billion dollars over Sandy Hook, having him back on the platform is a liability to the company. From a business perspective I would have completely understood that reasoning. It's the same with banning Ye, with the "inciting violence" bs. When really he was panicking (understandably) that after had his "i love nazis" go off moment on Alex Jones, letting Ye remain on the platform would have given the ADL and other powerful pressure groups who are already conducting an ad boycott (which is over 90% of Twitter's revenue) against the company more ammo. With addition to the unelected cospmolitan EU autocrats mounting pressure on Twitter to censor more "hate speech" or be banned in Europe. Strange EU gave zero ***** about the hardcore **** or child exploitation that previously took place on Twitter. To Elon's credit he seems to have purged most the child abuse content. Yes Jack is soy, but Twitter was most fun back when he was in charge and actually had real power before they made him a figurehead.
