Butters Stotch - IF(N) SO4 - [1/4] I know my vote looks somewhat controversial and out of place with the current consensus, however, I am here to state my argument regarding Butters' typing, as there have been too many takes regarding his typology. Holistically looking at Butters' character he is somewhat complicated to type, his sense of existence is centered on something in between internal or external factors, but I really think Butters focuses more on or adheres to something more internal than on something external IF: “Introverted feelers are mostly silent, inaccessible, hard to understand; this type appears rather cold and reserved, it might seem on a superficial view that such women have no feelings at all. But this would be quite wrong as their feelings are very intensive. They are guided by their subjective feelings, their true motives generally remain hidden. If this outward aspect is more pronounced, it arouses a suspicion of indifference and coldness, which may turn into a disregard for the comfort and well-being of others. There is little effort to respond to the real emotions of the other person; they are more often damped down and rebuffed, or cooled off by a negative value judgment. He lives life by his own standards and does only what he wants (in some cases he merely follows other people's standards, but cannot align himself with them "naturally".), which makes him an obvious Ji user, meanwhile Je fits with the outside expectations. He judges the value of things on a subjective level, processes everything internally with silent judgments, which is the opposite of what Je does, making subjective assessments, he judges, and accepts or discards something according to his systems of tastes and values. One of the fourth graders at South Park Elementary, Butters is the typical laughingstock among his peers. He is the sweet, good-natured, innocent, sensitive, effeminate and idealistic little boy of the school, if a bit socially awkward. His reputation makes him a frequent target for harassment, bullying, manipulation and exploitation by the more mature and foul-mouthed boys — especially Cartman — in addition to being the only child of his abusive parents, Stephen and Linda. Despite his regular humiliations, Butters can still grow a spine at the most unexpected of moments. Despite having been around since the show's beginning, he was mostly a living prop in the early seasons, but gradually developed into a character around Season 3, and became a major character after "Kenny Dies". He's a wide-eyed idealist who should be commended for remaining so after the world tries its hardest to give him reasons not to be. His "evil" alter-ego is Professor Chaos. #CinnamonRoll
