Her functions are Fi-Fi²-Si-Te lmao. Every episode has her being so fueled by Fi I'm actually surprised Fe types have votes. I can't think of 1 time off the top of my head where she prioritizes social harmony or collective moral standards over her own feelings/desires/moral code but I can think of about 100x where she does the opposite. Caring about people isn't Fe exclusive, Fi users just care in a *different* way; ex. in S1E5 the entire episode she looks like an Fe user empathizing with the mothers but at the end of the episode it comes out that she was so emotionally invested in the case because SHE also lost a baby. Or in S1E7 where she was invested in the idea that a couple "loves each other & couldn't have cheated" but it was only because she had loved her husband so much that she married him knowing he would die, so she didn't want to assume married couples don't love each other. Neither of these moments are Fe, it's Fi-Si caring about someone/something because they can directly relate to them via their own feelings, perspective (Fi) & past experiences (Si). It goes the other way too: In S2E6 she has an irrational level of disdain for an athlete who's doping. She spends the entire episode being on as high a horse as humanly possible in the situation, even going so far as to verbally & physically punish the patient while setting up interviews to expose him & end his career. Then in the final scene it turns out that she hates cheaters as a core moral principle & form of self punishment because SHE emotionally cheated on her husband while he was dying & therefore all cheaters (including herself) are scum & deserve to be punished. It's a weird & kinda twisted Fi-Si hang up that she turned into a rule that needed to be implemented universally & no matter the context (inf Te). While high Fe users can obviously dislike cheating as well as impose morals on others, the intensity she had with it & the fact that she let it run amuck to the point she trampled other principles Fe would've had in the situation like idk "don't sh-t on a dying man to his face, & while intentionally giving him the most painful treatment option, all over something that doesn't actually hurt anyone but himself" pushes this to an Fe-Si-Te situation. There's also the entirety of S2E18 (her on a Fi crusade against a selfish patient getting a liver transplant AND Foreman who's making an Inf Fi career choice at her expense). Really just watch this episode if you want to see how Fi driven she is. From start to finish her functions are Fi-Fi-Fi-Fi lol & the whole message of the episode is "teaching" her that others don't play by her personal moral code, nor do they feel the need to, so they don't feel bad about falling short of it. I mean House even spells it out for us in a very Housey way, in one of her 1st moments on screen in S1E2: House: "You're an only child aren't you? 🤨" Cameron: "Why would you say that!? 😳" House: "Cause EVERYTHING is always about YOU 🙄" Cameron: 😦 .... Cameron *Minutes Later After Continuing To Ponder The Interaction*: "I-I'm not an only child 🥺" Case closed ladies, gents & others. Thanks for coming.
