I think it's useless to type leaders based on political stances and positions, and more useful to type them on leadership style, character outside of leadership, and what we know of their personal life. His leadership style was suspicious but innovative. He tried to do too much at the same time with no regard for little things like the treasury, showing dominant Ne and inferior Si that cared for innovation over detail, think Stockton Rush's disregard for safety procedures on the submersible. His leadership was based in his wanting to do what he could do, rather than what he was equipped to do. He heard what he wanted to hear, not what was correct. His family life similarly shows Ne-Si and Ti-Fe. He never ended up choosing a successor after his son Yang Zhao died. He flattered his parents and feigned qualities they valued, which shows his Fe. He appeared to be monogamous like his parents, but he secretly took concubines. Outside of leadership, he showed his grandiosity and unhealthy 3 traits such as masking his true behaviour.
