in my honest opinion, i'm not really about to discuss on her mbti. i think people are getting a bit confused here about where her feelings of "revenge" come from. im actually here to discuss on her enneagram. Jin Gaeul is obviously from the gut triad, or the anger triad. And ive typed her as an sp1. Before i get into a bit more detail, people are mistaking her revenge as a core part of her cognitive function fi, which is totally understandable. fi users are individuals who believe there is a right or wrong based on their own moral principles and people have been mistaking it for what Gaeul truly believes in. anyway, back onto the enneagram, ive typed her as sp1 and i firmly believe that it's the core of why she wants revenge. sp1 is often described as "anxiety" or "worry" because they have an internal judge that often criticises themselves. we can see this in gaeul in her middle school flashbacks where she asks herself, "what did i do to deserve all this?". im sure she said that somewhere but i cant pinpoint it. but she's definitely sp/sx. i dont really know the basis of how people agreed that she's an sp/so but i can definitely see the sx in her. correct me if im wrong tho. i'll prove my point as to why im convinced she's sp/sx 1. first of all, sp1 individuals often experience what is called frustration and more prominently classified as *resentment*. This is very prominent in Gaeul's arc because all she wants is revenge. Even though she asks herself "what did i do to deserve this?", we can see that she acknowledges the injustice onshe received. she kmows she was wronged. theres a part of her that definitely knows its not her fault, which could relate to the sx in her. in one of the flashbacks, she meets a girl that was close to Kim Uri. and i dont really remember but she finds out that the only reason she was bullied was because Kim Uri liked Kang Subin. This fuels her resentment towards Kim Uri and Kang Soobin and all the events that happened to her. Because she truly believes that her being bullied was unjustified and she experienced injustice. Jin Gaeul feels resentment more than her need for revenge.
