As much as I hate to admit it, I relate to him quite a bit. Enneagram 3s’ fear of being outperformed by others and not being appreciated/being unworthy can be a living hell, so even though this guy is a fu!cking ba!stard, I can see where he’s coming from. Another interesting thing is that it especially hurts when 3s are compared (and outmatched) by someone close to them (like in Michael’s case: Lucifer). ➖Enneagram 3 is clear, in terms of Jungian type, I think he’s an ENTJ, and not ENFJ. Here are some parts of a post I had about manipulation on my page: ▪️Fe manipulation: “(- When Fe>Ti): Spends less time on the framework, more comfortable with adjusting their strategy in the moment. Subtle management of emotions, triggering specific reactions like doubt, desire or trust.” ▪️Te manipulation: “(- When Te>Fi): Organizes the subject’s environment (people and subjective feelings) in a way that forces them in a scenario where the only thing they can do is what the manipulator wants.” —> I think it’s clear which one Michael is. He manipulates by stating facts at the right scenario and forcing people into positions that suits his goals through scheming and planning. In his own words: “All it took was a little whispering here, a carefully orchestrated coincidence there, AND your pathological self-absorption of course” (Clearly visible of how he treats external elements and uses sure, established, already existing factors to construct a plan) ➖Ni/Se is quite classic for him, he’s the visionary and tunnel sighted planner, but I think there’s a very important Se aspect that needs to mention: - Tertiary Se likes presentation and performance, and in Michael this manifests in the way he manipulated Dan. After he revealed Lucifer’s devil face to him (with Te) and got him to the graveyard, he staged a perfect reveal for himself, he got dressed as an angel, got his wings out and directed light to himself from the background, trying to create the most spectacular and optically overwhelming impression possible. - He’s also comfortable on his feet, quick to adapt and form plans (like after Lucifer beat him in the penthouse) and likes direct action, unlike for example Amenadiel (ISFJ), who likes a tactful and cautious approach at first. ENTJ fits perfectly.
