He never expected Lila to love him, he offered himself to protect her, to stay close to her not intending any physical contact, not even an emotional bond. He was always silent and willing to do as she said. Even when he suggests her a marriage, he's okay with a no. He's sad, but doesn't react like a 2 will. (2: dependent, 9: withdrawn) He doesn't demand love in exchange for his actions. He wants to be a guardian, to assure that Lila has peace and is well-cared for. Subtype now...
