He is first a perceiver ("Ni"), and then a judger ("Te"). I will give 3 arguments: (1) His function stack: His visions represent each of the stack function of the INTJ: 1) "Ni" is Nash's default function, the way he approaches mathematics; 2) "Te" is Parcher, telling Nash to act upon his visions and fantasies, to take action; 3) "Fi" is the little girl, representing the hidden feelings of Nash; 4) "Se" is clearly his best friend Charles, encouraging Nash to loosen up and to live in the physical world in an unhealthy way (i.e., throwing his table out of the window). (2) 2 examples of "Ni-Se": A perfect example of his "Ni" is the scene when he suddenly figures out (an "aha" moment) that his visions are not real , suddenly connecting all the dots in a blurry, intuitive , and instant manner, after which he stops his wife from leaving in her car. Another perfect example is how we suddenly realizes his "equilibrium theory" in an "aha" moment (Ni), when he is at the bar with his friends and they are talking about how to approach a blond woman (Se). (3) Social skills and Efficiency: He is socially awkward, and maybe that is why some people think of inferior "Fe" (thus concluding that he is an INTP), but I would argue that his awkwardness has everything to do with his extremely poor people skills, his schizophrenia, and, let's be honest, his INTJ profile (who are not precisely people oriented). He is extremely blunt ("Te") in his communication, and he is all for efficiency.
