I was honesty pretty torn on what her myers brigg is, but now I’m leaning toward INFP. On one hand I can see Si Fe in the way she does rely on past experiences to guide you as the player, and is pretty in tune with how Mario's feeling (very weak argument for Si Fe but it's something lol), but I don’t believe it’s nearly as strong as her Fi-Ne (will explain near the end). When you compare her with Count Bleck (who I believe is a VERY clear, VERY unhealthy INFJ 1w2), they're pretty different in their approaches and the way they express themselves. Bleck's Fe is more ignored since he's unhealthy and used more of his Ni-Ti, but it's definitely noticeable with the way he treats his minions and cares most about them not being punished or beating themselves up by their losses, rather than being angry and annoyed they allowed the heroes to have the upper hand. I feel like it comes out a bit more whenever Mario defeats him and he's his old self again. Yes, he had his own values that he expresses, but that isn't a Fi exclusive thing and could be 1w2 coming out as well. Inf Te doesn't make sense for him either, but Inf Se does (see actual argument in his page for detail lol) Tippi, on the other hand, was very open about all of her views, and was very quick to be blunt and straightforward to people they encountered who questioned or didn't agree. I think her argument with Bleck in the Sammer’s Kingdom is a great example of her strong dominant Fi combating with his neglected aux Fe: “The light of each world will be snuffed out one by one…” “Why would you want to do something so… unspeakable?” “You QUESTION Count Bleck?! This worthless world’s destruction matters not! Far better for Count Bleck to wipe it out of existence than to let it remain.” “How can you say that? That’s… horrible!” “Count Bleck scoffs at you! An insignificant pixl lectures Count Bleck on what is right and wrong?!” “This is not up for discussion! You’re wrong… and sick! All living things have a heart. They’re priceless. You can’t just… erase them!” “Of all things, you defend the heart?! Nothing could be more worthless… All things… are meaningless. Aside from Timpani, no treasure mattered in the least to me.” To me, this conversation shows the differences between their feeling functions. While tippi is looking at and expressing her own views and moral standpoint on what he’s doing, Count Bleck is speaking and defending himself based off of how he’s feeling. From his external and twisted viewpoint, he believes that since the world hurt him, it must be hurting others too, therefor he believes that he’s helping everyone by getting rid of everything. Even though it’s very, VERY twisted, this sounds like underdeveloped and unhealthy Fe. Bleck is relatively open with his feelings throughout the game, while Tippi generally keeps them to herself. When she DOES express them, she does this in a very Fi Te way, even though her Te is inferior. She’s quick to call out people on their BS and uses the external world and bases her logic off of what’s happening around them to explain and defend her point. Additionally, she never really showed to care for group harmony and in fact had no problem ruffling the feathers of teammates they met, like Luvbi or Squips, and never was apologetic for standing her ground and standing for what she believed, even if it bothered new people to the team. Plus, Tippi is always suggesting and brainstorming new ideas to help Mario cross a canyon, figure out how to use an item or defeat an enemy, etc., which can be seen as stronger Ne. Si is a little trickier, since she didn’t have her memory for the majority of the game and could’t really use her past experiences to piece things together til later, but she does use some I suppose to guide Mario. Might need to watch some clips and make a better argument for Si but we’ll go with this for now.
