I guess that Te-Fi axis is pretty clear, but his dominant function may cause some doubt. I think that the Gulenko's er0t1c attitude theory's adaptation for MBTI can explain his hooking on Stifler's mom, clearly a woman who arouse the extraverted sensation, Finch's supposed inf function. For me, his interest in studying and creating plans about his own behavior, in order to inforce his originality and his preferences, is dued to a enneatype 5w4, with 9 in tritype (I don't really ser him being a 1, and he has kind of a contemplative attitude towards the world)
