I think Mako is rather a sexual 7. sx/so Sexual 7 instead of social 7 because her gluttony seems to be for idealization and enthusiasm, rather than for material items (sp) or anti-gluttony (repressing and going against gluttony, wanting to be admired by others for it) (so). Mako's way of speaking tends to be very rambly, fast and full of ideas, which is trademark of a sx 7. I think the fact that Mako's main focus for most of the show was on Ryuko, and how she could help her specifically (rather than striving to improve the world like so 7) is more evidence, being that sx is the "one-on-one" instinctual variant.
