Ryoji Mochizuki typ osobowości MBTI
Osobowość
"Jaki typ osobowości jest {profilename}? {profilename} jest typem osobowości {mbti} w mbti, {enneagram} - {iv} - {tritype} w enneagram, {big5} w Big 5, {sociionics} in Socionics."
I made a comment on here a couple months ago (mainly as a joke), but I'm back now because I've actually started to consider a possibility that I didn't before. For the Enneagram, I suspect Ryoji is a Social 7, not a 2. As many people should know, Enneagram 2's and Enneagram So 7's are frequently mistyped as one another. There's a massive amount of similarities between the behaviour of the two types, with the main differences being connected to internal thought processes rather than the actual behaviour, hence the two seeming nearly identical. I always had some level of doubt regarding Ryoji being a Type 2, even if it sounded reasonable enough, so I decided to look into what the exact differences were. On a thread about Chestnut's descriptions of Social 7's, I found this paragraph which looked at the issue in detail (available here: https://www.personalitycafe.com/threads/social-sevens-according-to-beatrice-chestnut.723370/). "Because of their enthusiasm and joyfulness, as well as their prominent desire to help and be of service, Social Sevens can look like Twos-but while Twos focus primarily on others and don’t have as much of a connection with their own selves, Social Sevens are still primarily self-referencing, so they will usually know what they need, even if they decide to sacrifice it. Their desire to help is born of the need to go against a sense of self-interest, not just a desire for approval, so they have a more direct experience of their own needs and wants despite their tendency to make efforts to serve others or a higher good. These are people who are very pure-and in this way they can also look One-ish-but theirs is a goodness for applause, a desire to reach an ideal of perfection or purity that’s based on social consensus (as opposed to Ones’ internally generated sense of what is “right”)." Doesn't this description of a Social 7 fit Ryoji better than the description of a 2? Ryoji definitely fits into the shared traits of "enthusiasm, joyfulness (to an extent), and a desire to help and be of service", but Ryoji is quite in-touch with his own wants and needs. He is, in a sense, a role model; he shows his ability to be of service by showing his own internal solidarity. He also has some blatantly self-interested traits, such as his explicit perversion, despite it being socially taboo. What defines him is that he isn't controlled by these self-interested traits; rather, he controls them himself for the sake of doing what's best for everyone else. All things considered, I'm also not entirely sure I agree with the idea that he is motivated by a "desire for approval". He obviously enjoys receiving approval from others around him, as almost anyone does, but he doesn't lose his motivation through rejection either. For one example, it's an established plot-point that he asks out almost every girl he meets, and clearly doesn't get far with all of them, but this doesn't seem to damage his character in any way. As mentioned before, Enneagram 2's and Social 7's are very similar to one another in behaviour, with the main difference being rooted in internal thought processes rather than behaviour. What we know of Ryoji's thought processes are far, far closer to our descriptions of Social 7's than 2's. EDIT: Pls. You can all do as you wish. You're all free people. But why like the comment and then not vote? ;-;
