i love tim burton women: giant eyes locked to the person on to them, eerie vibes and a total outcast to the society with a big, very well hidden heart. they are like a deer but as a ghost. and shy (usually typed as INFP) main character who follows them around, completely hypnotized and frightened. i just love everything about this. ISTP emma (like in the book) could have been a baddie tho. in this movie she is a tim burton muse. its kinda sad, takes a lot from the depth of the original character. but i dont think its comes from misogny, he does that to men too. this is his fi, 4w world with giant eyes and i get it
