I definitely agree with those voting Sx1. While 8s can care about vengeance and justice, Khonshu is all about using vengeance as a means to greater social impact by removing bad people from the world. An 8s vengeance is reactive in the moment; "you hurt me now so I hurt you now". It's not schemes to bring a greater social change on the behalf of others, an 8s vengeance is centered on the self and wrongdoings committed against themselves. Khonshu doesn't display lust at all, he's not out for intense sensory experiences. "The passion of Lust causes the Eight to be domineering and excessive, as they are constantly seeking intense experiences, a way to assert their own will, and a way to manipulate situations to serve them." Sx1s are reformers who focus on aggressively impacting the state of the world, channeling their anger into idealism for fixing flaws in society. He's on a mission, seeing himself as the one who did not abandon humanity and the one who can fix the wrongs it commits through his avatars. This is exactly how the Sx1 is described. "This character feels entitled in the sense of possessing the mentality of a reformer or a zealot-one who knows how to live or do things better and so feels a right to assert their will over others. Like the mentality of a conqueror, this approach can be rationalized and made virtuous through the rhetoric of their adherence to a higher moral code or calling." Sx1s are commonly mixed up with 8s, usually as Sp8s. "In light of this type of behavior, this One can look like a type Eight. Like Eights they can be energetic, assertive, and strong. These Ones believe the have a right to impose their vision and get what they need, in the same way an Eight might overpower or dominate a situation to impose their own will. But Eights and Ones differ in that Ones are "over-social" and Eights are "under-social." Under-social refers to not concerning themselves with society and it's rules or expectations. Khonshu is very fixated on society, on rights and wrongs, concerned with enforcing the rules he believes best for the world. He's very "over-social" as the comparison describes.
Biografia
Khonshu is the Egyptian God of the Moon and the Night Sky. Banished by the Ennead Council, he sought to avenge those that had been wronged by evildoers through his Avatars who were known as Moon Knights. Due to the betrayal of Arthur Harrow, his former Avatar who had chosen to follow the goddess Ammit, whose views were different than Khonshu's, Khonshu chose Marc Spector to be his new Avatar. Khonshu is an imperious, sort of snotty, vengeful, and impulsive god who is willing to cross almost any extent to reach his goals of imparting his "real justice" on the realm of Earth, through his avatars. Khonshu is an incredibly manipulative god, who preys on broken minds like Arthur Harrow's and Marc Spector's, in order to cajole them into imparting his brutal form of justice. He also takes advantage of Spector’s poor mental health to achieve his own aims. #MagnificentBastard
