i think e2 fits him more because pride>vanity, and i know sx3 and sx2 can look similar but let's take his dialogue with emma(it is a secret ending, but its very important to his character): he has to options - bitter and remorseful (but before anyone says it matters which choice you pick, i think every characters choice makes sense for the character so that doesn't matter) 1. bitter: J: See, i did it for you, Emma. The whole reason we're stuck out here... i wanted to give you one more chance to realise what you're missing out on. (im posting the relevant parts only) ... The van...Okay? The van. I made it stop working. For you. ... E: I'm not a prize. You can't win me here jacob has 2 options again - defensive (what about how i feel) or apologetic (i'm sorry) (again both choices make sense for his character so the argument it matters on your gameplay isn't valid) if you choose defensive he says: J: Okay, well, do you even care about how I feel? Because i did this for you. Because i care about you. E: No, you idiot, you did it for you! And that's one hundred percent the reason i dont give a shit how you feel. The reason i think hes sx2>sx3 is because of the pride and entitlement he shows towards emma in this scene "i gave you a chance to see what you're missing out on". He generally thinks hes that great, and that emma is missing out, he isn't faking it like a 3 (emma is a social 3 and she stated multiple times that her persona and confidence is fake). Also i don't see him having trouble with promoting himself, in fact we see him in the spotlight a lot of the times and he seems to really enjoy it, he enjoys being the center of attention. Another sign of his pride is when emma kissed nick, saying that emma is his girlfriend and he just acts like he deserved the kiss. He felt entitled and his ego got hurt because emma kissed nick instead of him. I'm pretty confident in my decision but if you think otherwise or if you think something about my argument is wrong we can discuss it in the comments!
