I can see the idea that INTJ inferior Se could help with this kind of risky lifestyle, but that baby INTP Fe is exactly the thing that a fake hitman needs to be successful. Enough Fe to make becoming a chameleon natural in a way that a Fi user would struggle with, but not so much that he would care beyond purely academic interest. I also don't think a Fi user would believe that we are all "spineless, begging for the attention of others". That values group acceptance much more than the average Fi user. INTP makes the most sense for someone willing to go along with such a morally ambiguous, absurd, but intellectually interesting endeavor. INFJ doesn't add up. Gary's weakness was his inability to show care for his ex. A higher Fe user would have no difficulty making his partner feel cared-for. INTPs however notoriously can come across as a little distant and distracted in their relationships.
