The following excerpt comes from my post on Korra's type and will be used to explain why Ashley is SX8: "Part II. Psychology of the female SX8. In the female SX8 we find a character also driven by the passion of Possession, and the fear of its consequential abandonment, however, there are stark contrasts in the external and internal behaviours towards this fear and passion; let us explore them before I elaborate on why Korra is not SX8. Take Ashley Graves, from TCOAAL, a perfect female SX8 example still holding all the previous tenets discussed with Anakin, except for one: female SX8's trade physical aggression for passive-aggression or relational-aggresion; let us explore this. Ashley, while still being anti-social and violent, takes her possession more to the social-emotional level with her brother; often manipulating, gaslighting, and berating him just to trap him with her. She'll push away others who she sees as threats to their bond with countless namecallings, death threats, and other emotionally manipulative tactics. This highlights the manifestation of aggression through the non-physical lense, as the possessive tendencies are demonstrated by indirect or relational aggression, designed specifically to make the other person feel insecure and force them away from Andrew. However, this does not mean female SX8's are non-physically violent, but they usually only display such when their possession threatens to leave them or when someone has shown direct romantic interest in their possession; take Nina, who admitted to Ashley she liked her brother, Ashley took this and aggressively decided to lock Nina in a box by manipulating her possession(Andrew) to lure Nina over to an abandoned location whete they'd feign hide and seek, she then locks Nina in a box and lets her die. Which leads to the next point: female SX8's are more outward in showing their callousness, as shown by Ashley not even reacting to Nina being dead, just "shrugging it off." Compared to how Anakin cannot properly confront his emotional instability and does not see his antisocial behaviour killing children and all that as antisocial, Ashley openly accepts it. Finally, let us conclude the first two points by emphasizing a clear important factor: SX8, whether male or female, will aggressively possess someone and attach themselves to them, threatening anyone who gets in their way and often resorting to some kind of violence or manipulation to secure that which the SX8 desires; this is Possession in the sphere of Lust. Secondly, we account for the consequence of the passion—the fear of abandonment SX8's face. They lack the ability to emotionally regulate themselves and accept their fear, so they reactively deny it and often push away their possession, giving in to their fear of abandonment and losing sense of self—disintegration. After this disintegration of the self, they become completely unstable and do irrational things like Anakin becoming a closed off murderous psycho named Vader, or Ashley threatening her brother with manipulation, berating, and yelling."
