Since some ESFJ voters attack ENFJ analysis, it’s a small reminder that we are here to discuss and share thoughts not to attack eachother. Summery is that I explain why she doesn’t have weak Ne or signs of Si. Si is like a big database. Although it’s not good at predicting the future, it’s good at remembering the data it had and using it thoroughly. I don’t see any special signs of si in AI. She was perfect at dealing with strangers, reading their feelings, and knew exactly what people wanted to hear even though she didn’t know them. I think predicting someone you don’t know needs ni rather than si. She also could tell the lies of Kamiki apart very easily despite being with him for just a month. And that was one month of practicing with him not just chatting and getting to know each other. Again I think that needs Fe-Ni rather than Fe-Si. She didn’t have any data on him from before. Si needs existing data to work on. You can call this part stereotypes, but as you know she was also terrible at even remembering names. She also was obsessed with lies. Si is mostly connected to social norms and rules and even now many say lying is bad. For an Si user lying is simply okay if not wrong, but not only she didn’t mind lying she advertised lying! She said it’s a form of love and she even taught it to Ruby! In the last chapter of the manga Ruby(an Fi user) was happy that she can lie repeatedly. Si users yearn for stability, especially in Ai’s case she was an orphan and she got to be an idol after 6 years of trying so freakin hard and handling all kinds of hatred. But she didn’t mind risking everything for the twins because of sheer optimism. There’s also when she escaped from the orphanage. When the producer asked her what’s your plan she said idk I just wanted to get out of there. If you know the difference in j between sjs and njs, sjs need to plan every moment, but njs just think of the beginning and the ending and they don’t plan the middle part much. That's why njs seem less intense and more sloppy compared to sjs. Even if we say she was a super optimistic Esfj (fair enough) she simply HAD to show weak Ne in such important times. Weak ne keeps catastrophizing and thinking about bad scenarios, that’s why si users are so cautious of new things because they have countless bad scenarios in their heads. Ai didn’t think of any bad scenario she kept saying “I know everyone(not me) says this is a bad idea but I know it will work out!” Not one moment of self-doubt like I might lose my job, my house, my friends. Nope, instead she said “Ehe you’re worried about him? What was his name again?” The last thing I want to point out is that since ni users spend most of their time in their heads (compared to reality) it’s easier for nfjs to lose touch with themselves compared sfjs. Sfjs have more sense of the sensory world. it’s like they are attached to reality a bit better than Nfjs. We all know Ai couldn’t confirm if she loved the twins(even though she risked her whole life and career for them.) I think this amount of detachment and this amount of relying on lies is more likely of ENFJs rather than ESFJs.

Ai Hoshino (星野 アイ, Hoshino Ai, #on knees) is a main character in the Oshi no Ko manga series. She was the lead idol of the now defunct B-Komachi, an idol group affiliated with Strawberry Productions. Before her idol work, she was a bumpkin who had no professionalism and didn't try to fit in. Through the help of Masaya Kaburagi, she was able to get into the Lalalie Theatrical Company, and from there, fell in love and started paying attention to herself. She transformed into the famous idol she was.
