Osobowość

"Jaki typ osobowości jest {profilename}? {profilename} jest typem osobowości {mbti} w mbti, {enneagram} - {iv} - {tritype} w enneagram, {big5} w Big 5, {sociionics} in Socionics."

(1/2) despite the skepticism surrounding jung’s enneagram typing, i find e5 to be a perfect fit for him. it’s very easy to think of him as e3 since he has a facade, but keep in mind that the passion of e3 is deceit. remember his past? jung never truly shows a desire to maintain a perfect image to those around him; the so-called ‘image-oriented’ aspects of him are mainly an external influence by his father and juyong. since he was always labeled as ‘strange’ by those around him, he was taught to smile and act politely to keep his ‘irrational’ behavior under control. jung himself, however, never immerses himself into his external image as the e3 does and lacks so many other trait characteristics—he has no vanity or attention-seeking motives whatsoever and lacks the superficiality in self-awareness. on e5: dealing with anxiety, the 5 in particular responds by distancing themselves from others and unconsciously separating their mind from the external environment in fear of being overwhelmed and losing themselves. when alone, jung mentions his true feelings in chapter 259: “i hate dealing with people. it seems pointless. i don’t want to share their burden either… but i’m not supposed to make it obvious. i really don’t know why, though.” like the e5, not wanting to get caught up with others and wanting to keep everything to themselves, this behavior in jung is shown numerous times throughout the series, showing relief in the ‘quiet’ when there’s no one around to bother him, cutting people off when he thinks they’ve ‘crossed the line’ by taking too much from him etc. enneagram 5 keeps the emotional realm distant by intellectualizing their sentiments, which makes sense in that jung has difficulties connecting with his emotions. time and time again, his seemingly lack of feeling stems from the way he rationalizes his behavior. when he gets into arguments with seol, she notices his lack of emotion when describing his actions. same thing with his ‘sketchy’ motives before and when approaching seol, seeing her as something unique to study without touching more on his feelings. very similar to e5’s isolation, no? “... it can be observed in cases when the intellectual content of what has occurred is isolated from the intense emotion that was experienced, "which is coolly recollected by the patient as if it referred to something that happened to somebody else, and does not matter to him". - matte-blanco on isolation. additionally, we have the e5’s avoidance or delay of direct action; in seol’s many troubles at school (minsoo, younggon, etc.) for example, we see that jung has a tendency to indirectly interfere with the situation in order to get his desired outcome instead of directly confronting them and talking to seol about the issue (which they later get into an argument about). he spends a long time analyzing from the sidelines which also ties in to his feelings of being an outsider, a common feeling found in e5s. for subtype, i had originally voted sp 5, but after an extremely long mental debate with myself, i ended up questioning it. “in the case of conservation, the passion has a lot to do with finding refuge, erecting high walls that separate you from a world that can invade you, that can take you out of a precious little world that hides inside you. the idea of self preservation becomes clearer if we imagine them as strong supporters of cave retreat. the e5 conservation extremely limits his needs and desires, since each desire could mean a dependency status for him.” - naranjo on sp 5. is jung’s desire to find a refuge, to hide away from the real world and avoid depending on others entirely really as important to him as finding someone who truly accepts him, whom he can trust and feel fulfilled with? honestly, not really. jung’s eagerness to connect with seol and better understand her as well as his general inclination to emotions relative to the so or sp 5 makes the sexual subtype have more sense to it.
